영어 문단 해석 부탁드릴게요.
영어로 국부론을 공부하고 있는데,
딱 이 문단만 해석이 잘 안되서 1시간째 계속 끄집거리기만 하네요.
영어 해석 잘 하시는 분들,
조금만 도와주시면 안 될까요?
고민 계속하다가 여기에 도움을 청합니다.
When the people of any particular country has such confidence in the fortune, probity,
and prudence of a particular banker, as to believe he is always ready to pay upon demand
such of his promissory notes as are likely to be at any time presented to him; those

어떤 특정 국가 사람들이 자산, 신뢰, 그리고 은행가의 신중함에 확신이 차 있을 때..
약속어음이 금은화를 대체화며..어쩌구 저쩌구.
아~ 어렵습니다. 마침표가 왜 이렇게 없는지..
어떻게 해석하는 게 좋을까요?
