올해 데뷔하자마자 싱글 1위로 올라가버린 'These words'란 노래가 있습니다. 81년생 신인 나타샤 베딩필드의 데뷔 앨범 'Unwritten'은 앨범 차트에서도 1위를 기록했었죠. 대부분의 노래를 직접 썼다는데, 노래들이 자신감이 넘치고 자기 주장이 강하며 발랄하죠. 듣고 있으면 자연스럽고 신선하고 정직하게 노래한단 생각도 들고요.

나타샤의 오빠 다니엘 베딩필드도 이미 1위 싱글을  3개나 가진 가수죠. 영국에서 각기 독립적으로 싱글 차트 1위를 한 남매는 아마 이 사람들뿐일걸요. 여동생이 (다행히) 오빠를 안 닮았더군요.
