동성결혼이 가능하다면 사람들은 애완견들과 결혼을 하려 할지도 모른다.

동물들도 결혼 서약을 충분히 이해하고 서약서에 사인할 능력이 있으니 말이다.

아이들은 가정에 남성 롤모델과 여성 롤모델이 없으면 절대 훌륭한 사람으로 자라지 못한다.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms, just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

동성결혼은 우리 사회의 기반을 뒤흔들어 놓고 말 것이다.

우리는 절대 새로운 사회적 통념이나 규범에 적응하지 못한다.

우리가 자동차나, 서비스업계, 더 길어진 수명과 같은 것들에 적응을 하지 못한 것처럼 말이다
