자자..잠깐만요. 메릴 스트립, 줄리아 로버츠가 모녀로 출연하는 신작에, 합류할 지 모르는 배우들이 ㄷㄷ

BroadwayWorld.com has learned from a Broadway insider that in talks to join the film alongside Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts are none other than Jack Nicholson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Natalie Portman and Mary Louise Parker. We'll bring you more information as it becomes available.

As reported previously, Deadline.com reports that Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep are in talks to star in the film adaptation of Tracy Lett's Pulitzer Prize and Tony-winning play, August: Osage County.  According to the report, both are in final negotiations for the project and production timelines are being set. The team is looking for a start by early summer 2011. John Wells will direct the film, which is being adapted by Letts for the screen. 

Streep will play the role of Violet Weston, the drug-addicted, paranoid mother, and Roberts her eldest daughter, Barbara Fordham. Harvey Weinstein is producing the project alongside it's stage producer Jean Dourmanian. 

August: Osage County is a darkly comedic play by Tracy Letts. The June 28, 2007 world premiere production was produced by the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois, and closed on August 26, 2007. Its Broadway debut was at the Imperial Theater on December 4, 2007 and transferred to the Music Box Theatre on April 29, 2008. The Broadway show closed on June 28, 2009 after 648 performances and 18 previews.

메릴 스트립과 줄리아 로버츠가 모녀로 출연한다는 소식은 듣긴 했는데, 일단 둘이 공연한 적이 없어서 이것도 빅 뉴스긴 한데,

저..저거 말이죠. 제가 해석을 제대로 한 거라면, 잭 니콜슨에다가, 필립 시모어 호프먼, 나탈리 포트먼에 메리 루이즈 파커까지 루머가 돌고 있다는 거죠??!

좋아하는 배우들만 일부러 싹 모아놓은 것마냥.

재밌는 것은, 메릴 스트립, 줄리아 로버츠, 잭 니콜슨, 나탈리 포트먼, 메리 루이즈 파커, 필립 시모어 호프먼은 모두,

얼마전 마이크 니콜스 AFI 행사에 함께 모였던 배우들인데, 거기서 성사가 됐나.

이게 아무튼 사실이라면, 허허... 완전 좋은데요. -_+
